From the tea garden

I want to highlight different herbs and flowers that I’ll be using in my tea blends throughout the year. I think it’s important to share why I felt led to grow these and have them in products.

Lemon balm from my garden

Lemon balm is probably the herb I grow the most of. I use it constantly and it smells amazing!

Lemon balm is in the mint family so be sure to give it room to grow in a space by itself. During the day I drink a hibiscus and lemon balm tea to help with digestion and focus. One of my nighttime tea blends includes lemon balm to combat insomnia. Using it as a topical cream is said to shorten the healing time for cold sores. Lemon balm is very easy to grow and you should definitely add it to your garden.
